Andy Olivares, known for his professional sports, television and radio experience in Wisconsin, announced the launch of Olivares Communications & Marketing to provide marketing for Milwaukee-area firms and organizations.

For the past three seasons, Olivares has been the Spanish broadcast voice of the Milwaukee Brewers. Depending on how the schedule falls, Olivares will call around 30 baseball games this season on television and radio. This fall, Olivares will launch into his second season as the play-by-play announcer for Green Bay Packers, sharing the game-day experience of Wisconsin’s storied NFL American Football franchise. It was in his first season of broadcasting games in 2013 that Olivares created his “ta-ta-ta-touchdown” scoring call.

“I want to improve customer satisfaction by implementing cultural sensitive communication strategies that resonate with the target market,” Olivares said. “In order to achieve our goals and maximize resources, we will meticulously converge on specific touch points to develop a winning playbook built on best practice data and the level of interaction within the community that will work for organizations.”

Olivares hopes to use the experience and exposure gained through working with Telemundo Wisconsin and Weigel Communications in television and WRRD-AM ESPN 1510 Desportes and Good Karma Broadcasting in Wisconsin on projects from show hosting, sports play-by-play, language translation and media planning.

The relationships established with traditional and digital media outlets, sports franchises, national companies and organizations allows Olivares Communications & Marketing to reach a variety of audiences and markets.

Spanish generation consumers tend to develop stronger preferences for brands that connect in their Latino world in a personal way, Olivares said. Direct marketing through mobile and digital channels delivers excellent results among the coined “Spanglish” generation, as they like to be connected and interact with the brands they enjoy.
