Germantown’s Old Town Inn has undergone a $75,000 renovation over the past month, and will reopen as Old Town Beer Hall on Friday.
The restaurant, located at N116 W15841 Main St., added bench style seating, hand-painted murals, signage and liter glassware in the renovation. Its menu will now be filled with authentic German food, with Hofbrau and Wiekenstephan beers available to wash it down. Old Town will have entertainment, a ceremonial keg tapping and free Spanferkel (pig roast) at its Friday reopening.
Old Town Beer Hall will donate 50 cents to the American Red Cross for every lunch or dinner entrée purchased at the restaurant in September, said owners Chaz Hastings and Josh Neureuther.
“It’s important to have partners in the community supporting our mission of providing services, such as responding to house fires, delivering blood to help hospitals save lives, teaching our communities to prepare and save lives, and assisting our armed forces with vital services for veterans and their families,” said Patty Flowers, chapter executive and regional chief executive officer for Wisconsin at the Red Cross. “Partners like Old Town Beer Hall help us spread the word about our mission and help us with vital grassroots support.”
“We want to give back to the American Red Cross since we back all of the great things they do.” Hastings said. “We’d love to see people from all over come to our new full-sized, indoor beer hall to experience a truly authentic German place and support this cause.”
Hastings also is an owner of Madam Belle’s tavern in Richfield, which reopened in July after extensive remodeling.
