Throughout her decades-long career, Jane Schlicht, partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in Milwaukee, has successfully represented clients in patent, trademark and trade secret matters and disputes as well as complex business disputes.

“A recognized thought leader, Jane has been a guest lecturer at Marquette University Law School on numerous topics including e-discovery, ethics, trial practice and procedure. She is a frequent presenter on trial practice and procedure, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, and Wisconsin ethics rules,” said Tomislav Kuzmanovic, partner-in-charge of Hinshaw & Culbertson’s Milwaukee office.

As chair of the Special Preliminary Review Panel of the Wisconsin Office of Lawyer Regulation from 2000 to 2006, Schlicht had an integral role in shaping legal ethics regulation in the state. She also served on an advisory committee to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin to study cost and delay in the Wisconsin federal court system.

Additionally, Schlicht has mentored many young attorneys as a master in the Thomas E. Fairchild American Inn of Court.
