Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders: Inge Plautz

Class of 2023

Boards: First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin (president)

It is my honor to nominate Inge Plautz, board president at First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin, for the Notable Nonprofit Leaders award. Inge passionately serves our organization, leading our work to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character and instill life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

Inge has been a tremendous steward of the organization. During the first year of her tenure as board president, she has expanded on-course programs, overseen the addition of 15 elementary schools to the First Tee School Program and partnered with Milwaukee County Parks to welcome all kids to play free golf at Noyes Park Golf Course.

Inge’s dedication to First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin goes a long way in helping our kids build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do.
