Melanie Varin co-owns Pewaukee-based TopLine Results Corp. with her husband, Fred Varin, who founded the company in 1999. She joined the executive team as chief operating officer in 2017 after climbing the ranks at Kodak and then GE Healthcare.
Her background in marketing from GE Healthcare – where she spent 14 years, including seven years as general manager of U.S. sales and marketing for diagnostic cardiology – and nine years at Kodak allowed her to bring a wealth of experience to TopLine, according to Art Flater, owner and vice president of sales at Central Office Systems.
“She has helped the business grow and evolve to be a leader in sales CRM (customer relationship management) optimization, improvement and deployment, helping hundreds of businesses get their CRM, sales and marketing aligned,” he said.
Part of Varin’s marketing efforts was writing a book on sales and marketing alignment called “Ignite TopLine Growth: How RevOps and Go-To-Market Alignment Spark Success.”
Varin is a board member of Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. She is also the chair of TEMPO Milwaukee’s Mentor Circle Committee.
