The Northwestern Mutual Foundation has announced $200,000 in Community Impact Award grants to four nonprofit organizations represented by Northwestern Mutual Offices across the country. The awards honor exemplary community service achievements made by Northwestern Mutual financial professionals.
“We’re very proud of the impact that our volunteers are making in their communities,” said Kimberley Goode, Northwestern Mutual Foundation president. “They’re working hard to address people’s urgent needs and strengthen their communities.”
Each Northwestern Mutual office was recognized for its volunteer efforts with a $50,000 grant for the organization they represent.
This year’s winners included Special Olympics Connecticut and The Bender Financial Group in Westport, Conn.; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of New Mexico and Miller Financial Group in Albuquerque, N.M.; Easter Seals United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of North Carolina & Virginia and Richard Worrell in Charlotte, N.C.; and Back2Back Ministries and The Kelley Financial Group in Cincinnati.
