North Shore Bank completes Bank of Kenosha conversion

Brookfield-based North Shore Bank has completed its conversion of the former Bank of Kenosha offices.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation chose North Shore to purchase Kenosha-based Banks of Wisconsin, dba Bank of Kenosha, in May. It acquired selected assets and assumed Bank of Kenosha’s deposits.

Former Bank of Kenosha customers now have access to all of North Shore Bank’s services and signage has been installed at the converted branches.

North Shore now has three Kenosha locations: 5117 Green Bay Road, 6906 Green Bay Road and 8056 39th Ave. The 39th Avenue location will be relocated to the Kenosha Festival Foods, 3207 80th St., in December.

“Our newest customers will now benefit from even more convenient locations and other expanded facilities and services provided by our community-minded bank,” said Susan Doyle, vice president at North Shore Bank. “These benefits include more than 23,000 completely free MoneyPass ATMs nationwide; 47 offices throughout eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois; and mobile banking with mobile deposit. Customers will also have access to free online banking, including eAlerts, eStatements and Bill Pay, plus Popmoney person-to-person payments.”

There are now 47 North Shore Bank offices in eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The bank has more than $1.7 billion in assets.
