Norquist to speak at Downtown Open House

Former Milwaukee Mayor John Norquist, who is the executive director for the Congress for New Urbanism, will speak at the seventh annual Downtown Milwaukee Open House, to be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Sept. 15-16. Norquist will discuss downtown Milwaukee’s urban growth and development during a new segment of the Downtown Milwaukee Open House. That segment, called the Coldwell Banker Living Forum, will be held at the Milwaukee County Historical Society on Saturday, Sept. 16, from noon to 1 p.m. Reservations for the forum can be made by calling (414) 277-9500.

The Downtown Milwaukee Open House, presented by the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors and the Milwaukee Downtown Business Improvement District, is a weekend open house for more than 30 residential developments, including sleek high-rises and spacious warehouse lofts. Visitors get to see the array of housing options in downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.
