Farrell joins Skylight Opera Theatre
Skylight Opera Theatre has hired Jim Farrell as the company’s new development director. Farrell previously served as director of corporate and foundation relations at The Milwaukee Repertory Theater and also had a career as a theatre artist and playwright.
"I am delighted to welcome Jim to the Skylight,” said Amy Jensen, managing director of the Skylight Opera Theatre. “Jim is incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about the arts and I have no doubt that he is a perfect fit for this organization."
Farrell attended the University of West Florida on an acting scholarship and performed in approximately thirty Off Broadway productions in New York City. His autobiographical play, Summer Games, won the Festival of Emerging American Theater in 1998 and was produced on Equity contract at The Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis. His play Monster Island won the Siena College International playwrights competition and his one-acts have been produced in New York and Chicago.

Personnel
The March of Dimes Wisconsin Chapter hired Maureen Kartheiser as its new state director of program services. She most recently worked with Pewaukee-based ProHealth Care as a project coordinator for women’s services supporting program development, physician recruitment and retention, and business planning for women’s and children’s services.
Kristin Occhetti, an associate in Quarles & Brady LLP’s Milwaukee office, has been appointed to the associate board of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee. Occhetti is a member of the Firm’s Trusts & Estates group focusing her practice on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies for individuals, small business owners and professionals.
The Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation, Oconomowoc, hired Matthias Schueth to serve as the organization’s executive vice president. Schueth spent more than 13 years as the press spokesman and vice president of communications and development at Caritas Germany, a catastrophe relief organization for third world countries. He also worked as the director of development and annual programs at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
