Press Club names new board
WISN-TV Channel 12 anchor, Kathy Mykleby, has been elected president of the Milwaukee Press Club for the next year. Mykleby has served as a news reporter since 1980. Her news reports have taken her around the world.  She has more than 25 years experience covering news and politics at WISN-TV and has interviewed almost every presidential candidate in that time. Mary Van de Kamp Nohl has been named the president-elect of the Milwaukee Press Club, H. Carl Mueller of Mueller Communications was elected treasurer and Maryann Lazarski of Cardinal Stritch University was elected secretary. Also elected to the board of directors was Steve Jagler, executive editor of BizTimes Milwaukee; Mark Kass, editor of the Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee; Marilyn Krause, assistant managing editor/administration at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel; Jody Lowe, president of Lowe Communications; Lori Richards, vice president of Mueller Communications, Inc., and Eric Von, Host at 1290 WMCS-AM radio. James Nelson, Deputy Business Editor of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, will remain on the board as past-president.
