Culver, Chang to chair 2011 UPAF campaign
The United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) has announced that Curt Culver, chairman and chief executive officer of Milwaukee-based MGIC Investment Corp. and Tina Chang, chairman and chief executive officer of Brookfield-based SysLogic Inc., have been named co-chairs for the 2011 UPAF Campaign.
UPAF has provided operational support to Milwaukee’s nationally recognized performing arts groups since 1967. UPAF has 34 member and affiliate groups.
The 2010 UPAF Campaign surpassed the goal of $9.3 million by raising $9,450,382 for the 34 performing arts groups. The 2011 Campaign goal will be announced in early 2011.
"We are extremely fortunate to have Tina and Curt’s support and leadership for the 2011 campaign," said UPAF President Cristy Garcia-Thomas. "Their skills are invaluable assets as we work to secure funding for the spectacular performing arts groups which contribute so much to the community."

"Working with UPAF provides an opportunity to improve the quality of life for southeastern Wisconsin and enrich the lives of our future leaders. I am looking forward to the campaign. Despite the current economic challenges, I think it will be a very successful year. It is an honor to be partnered with Tina as co-chairs of the 2011 campaign. She’s successful in every new venture she takes on and I’m sure we are going to feed off of each other’s energy."

I’m excited to have a chance to work with Curt. He is an outstanding and experienced leader who cares about the arts in southeastern Wisconsin, and I know we are going to work well together."
Cystic Fibrosis foundation names new leadership
The Wisconsin Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has announced that Danelle O’Neill has joined the foundation as the new executive director. O’Neill has been active in the non-profit community for the past 20 years. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has more than 75 chapters and branch offices across the country that organize and host a variety of special events to raise funds to support vital cystic fibrosis programs.
