Zilber Foundation names new program officer
The Zilber Family Foundation has appointed Erin Frederick to the position of program officer. Her responsibilities will include developing grant recommendations, monitoring the progress of grants awarded by the Foundation, and assisting in the implementation of the Zilber Neighborhood Initiative.
Ms. Frederick brings a strong background in health and human services as well as years of experience in community grant making in Milwaukee,” said Susan Lloyd, executive director of the Foundation. “As we continue to expand the Zilber Neighborhood Initiative, the Foundation’s Board of Directors and I felt that it was important to have an individual of Ms. Frederick’s background and experience to offer technical as well as financial assistance to the nonprofits the Foundation supports.”
Frederick most recently served as director of the healthier Wisconsin partnership program at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa. She has held that position since 2007.
Bill and Priscilla Boelter Named ARC’s 27th Annual Challenger Honorees
ARC of Greater Milwaukee (ARC) will honor Bill and Priscilla Boelter for their spirit of volunteerism and generosity at its 27th Annual Challenger Golf Outing
and Fundraiser in September. Proceeds from the Challenger Golf Outing will directly benefit children and adults with developmental and related disabilities, their families and the community. The Boelters will receive the Challenger Award for their outstanding commitment to the greater Milwaukee community. Bill is the board chairman of Boelter Companies, which includes foodservice and janitorial supplies, foodservice equipment and food facility design.
Pat Borger, vice chancellor of development and alumni relations at UW-Milwaukee and Ralph Weber, founding member of Gass Weber Mullins have joined the board of trustees for the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.
