What is one key thing needed for leadership in the nonprofit sector?
“Tenacity!”
Is your organization in search of board members?
“We are in search of board members who are personally invested in our mission and can help develop relationships that will result in financial support for the critical work we do.”
How can business people/the community help your organization?
“Business people can help with job development in their organizations for the people we serve, or serve as consultants to small business owners in our incubator.  Anyone can make contributions to support our programs or the general operation of the agency.  Interested parties can become our fan on Facebook and keep up with what we’re doing or visit our website for information about the agency.”
Why do you think people should volunteer or become a board member?
“Our work helps people grow in their understanding of others and gives them an opportunity to experience the joy associated with helping to lighten another’s load in life.  It’s a feeling that’s hard to match, like Christmas all year long!”
