- Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee has added Leticia Smith to its board of directors. Smith is a management consultant for nonprofit and governmental organizations, specializing in strategic planning, organizational collaboration, communication, change management, program evaluation and process improvement. She has taught at both the graduate and undergraduate level, and has served in a variety of roles in state and local government.
- Kim Preston, vice president of First Business Bank Milwaukee, recently received the 2010 Leadership Award for her board contributions at Pregnancy Support Connection, Inc. She has served on the board since 2006 and serves as board treasurer. “Kim is one of those people you just instantly like,” said Nancy Major, executive director. “She is professional, friendly, funny, has a beautiful smile and just puts you to ease at every level. She is always willing to go the extra mile and has exceptional follow-through.”
- JFS Housing, Inc. has hired Leshia Donaldson as the senior housing executive of the new Deerwood Crossing Senior Residences at 4195 W. Bradley Rd. in Brown Deer. Donaldson will manage daily operations for the 66-unit senior housing facility and direct the work activity of all employees and contracted staff. Prior to JFS, Housing, Inc. Donaldson was the director of operations at Advantage Management, and the director of client services and later cConsultant for Home Instead Senior Care.
