Before BizTimes Media honors winners of its second annual Nonprofit Excellence Awards program on Nov. 5, the company will open up a dialogue about the benefits that a culture of giving can have on both an individual business and the broader community.
That dialogue will be shaped by a panel of area business executives who make a point to spread a culture of giving across their workforces.
Panelists will include:
*Dan Druml, president and chief executive officer, Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling
*Paul Eberle, chief executive, Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek SC
*Tami Garrison, community affairs in Milwaukee, MillerCoors
*Neil Willenson, vice president of community relations, Kapco Metal Stamping
Each panelist will touch on how his or her company’s dedication to corporate citizenship has boosted business operations and community impact.
The panel will be moderated by Kimberly Kane, founder and president of Kane Communications Group.
The panel discussion will funnel into BizTimes’ push to honor companies and executives who make philanthropy a core value as well as area nonprofits that are making strides in improving the community.
Nonprofit Excellence Awards finalists on both the corporate and nonprofit side were announced in September.
Winners will be unveiled during the Nov. 5 awards program at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, located at 1721 W. Canal Street in Milwaukee.
The program is made possible by partnerships with the Association of Fundraising Professionals Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, the Wisconsin Philanthropy Network, and the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee.
The event costs $40 for individuals and $320 for a corporate table of eight.
