The new Wisconsin Technical College System 2012-2013 Guidebook will help the students, as well as recent high school grads and adults wanting to gain additional skills, make a professional move or a complete career change.
Whether considering technical college as a direct-to-career route or as a stepping-stone to additional preparation, the annual publication, a free resource, provides many options and tips for support. The guidebook includes an overview of educational options from around the state, including a complete list of over 300 program offerings, or majors, and which of the 16 technical colleges offer them.
Admissions requirements, transfer information, application timelines for each college and financial aid specifics are also included to help potential students explore options and make decisions. Readers can also find some employment data and samples of median starting salaries earned by graduates in various fields.
