The new
Residence Inn by Marriott Milwaukee Brookfield hotel opened last week in the City of Brookfield.
The 99-suite extended stay hotel, located at 765 Pinehurst Court and surrounded by Brookfield Hills Golf Course, opens three years after the original Residence Inn by Marriott closed for construction and redevelopment of the property, according to a news release.
The project included the new three-story hotel as well as
The Linx Club at Brookfield Hills, an apartment community featuring 192 units with one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans and 734 to 1,711 square feet of luxury living space.
"With 850 locations and twice the footprint of its next largest competitor, Residence Inn by Marriott created and defined the extended stay lodging category," said Mark Ostendorf, general manager at Residence Inn Milwaukee Brookfield.
Residence Inn Milwaukee Brookfield is operated by Fairfax, Virginia-based
Crescent Hotels & Resorts, which manages more than 100 properties in the U.S. and Canada under the Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt brands.
"Crescent has overseen the construction and opening of numerous properties in our portfolio," said Michael George, chief executive officer of Crescent Hotels & Resorts. "Our award-winning expertise will maximize the potential of this beautiful hotel."
Amenities at Residence Inn Milwaukee Brookfield include fully-equipped kitchens, a 535-square-foot meeting room, fitness center, indoor pool, two outdoor courtyards, and on-site bar-restaurant.
The Residence Inn is not the only new hotel in the area. The 168-room
Hilton Garden Inn opened in March on South Moorland Road adjacent to the new 54,000-square-foot Brookfield Conference Center as part of a $32 million project just south of Brookfield Square.
