New hires and promotions
Bruce Hoffmann has been promoted to senior director of finance and assistant treasurer at Marcus Corporation. He previously served as senior vice president of finance, strategy and planning for Marcus Hotels and Resorts. Hoffmann will now provide analytical and financial support for company-wide growth initiatives.
Dave Braam has been named senior vice president—commercial real estate manager at Johnson Bank. He previously served as a commercial banker for 25 years at M&I Bank.
Michael Kelly has been named branch manager for UBS Financial Services Inc.’s Brookfield office. He previously served as Delafield branch manager for UBS.
Paul Jackson has been named manager of the Mequon branch of Wells Fargo Advisors. He previously served as senior vice president—productivity manager for Wells Fargo Advisors. He will be responsible for overseeing the branch’s 15 financial advisors as well as recruitment.
Daniel Kaminski has been named executive vice president of strategic projects at Johnson Financial Group. He most recently served as senior vice president of the special assets division at M&I Bank. He worked at M&I for 26 years.
Associated Banc-Corp has hired one employee and promoted three in the greater Milwaukee area.
John Verthein has been promoted to senior vice president, senior relationship manager. He has worked for Associated since 2004 and most recently served as vice president, relationship manager. Verthein earned a bachelor’s from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s in business administration from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
TJ Gannon has been promoted to vice president, portfolio manager. He joined Associated in 2008 as an assistant vice president. Gannon earned a bachelor’s at Marquette University.
Casey Wendt has been promoted to vice president, portfolio manager middle market banking division in commercial banking. He has worked at Associated since 2007 and has more than 10 years of experience. Wendt earned a bachelor’s at Lakeland College.
Stephen Szpak has joined Associated as vice president, portfolio manager. He previously worked as a senior financial analyst at Aurora Health Care. Szpak earned a bachelor’s from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master’s in business administration from Marquette University.
