Resham Singh, the owner of a BP gas station at 12401 W. Beloit Road, plans to put the new building on the same 2-acre site as the existing gas station, convenience store and car wash. The owner did not name potential tenants for the location.

Dave Uttech, sales and project manager with Kaukauna-based Keller Inc., the firm tapped to design and build the project, said the owner wants to maximize the use of the lot with the additional building. The plan is to begin construction in the spring.

“(Singh’s) goal would be to put in some type of food- or coffee-type building, then have a drive-thru lane for it,” he said.

The building plans will be considered by the New Berlin plan commission on Jan. 7.

Also on the commission’s agenda is a proposal to construct a roughly 8,000-square-foot building for Elements Salon Suites at 2840 S. Moorland Road. This would be the salon’s second location; the existing location in Hales Corners has been in operation for 14 years.
