MSI Data to expand Mequon HQ

MSI Data, a provider of field workforce automation software, is expanding its Mequon headquarters by adding more office space and employees to meet the needs of new customers and to roll out new technology offerings.

The company announced that it has signed a lease for about 2,700 square feet of additional office space at its Mequon headquarters at 10033 N. Port Washington Road, increasing its total office space there to 7,900 square feet.
MSI Data, whose enterprise mobile field service and service management software is used by manufacturers, distributors, cable operators, government agencies, contractors and other organizations with a field workforce, is recruiting software developers to design, develop and implement mobile and .NET web applications.
The company needs more space and employees to accommodate its growth, said Harvey Shovers, president of MSI Data. The company has added some major new customers and is rolling out new technology next year, he said. To meet those needs the company added four employees in the fourth quarter and plans to add another 6 employees in the first quarter of 2013. The company currently has about 25 employees.
“We have some new wins and some new projects,” Shovers said. “We need more head count to meet the needs of the new clients.”
The company has added a major multi-national corporation as a new customer, Shovers said. He declined to name that customer, but said it will be announced next year and that the deal will “significantly grow this company.”
