MMAC to provide update on Zoo Interchange project

The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce will present an update on “The Reconstruction of the Zoo Interchange” on Friday, Feb. 15.

The event will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the MMAC’s headquarters in downtown Milwaukee.

The Zoo Interchange – the busiest in the state – has begun its first construction phase as crews begin to remove and replace the Greenfield Avenue Bridge over Interstate 894. The multi-year project will have long-term implications for moving goods and people around metropolitan Milwaukee.

The seminar will feature the latest developments from State Transportation Secretary Mark Gottleib, including how the state budget will impact funding and the timetable for completion of the project.

The fee to attend is $20 for MMAC members and $40 for prospective members. For more information, visitwww.mmac.org.
