Milwaukee-based Metropolitan Associates has purchased the sprawling Westchester Apartments complex in Kenosha for $20.4 million, according to a real estate transfer record posted by the state this week. The large apartment investor and management group purchased nine buildings located at 6014, 6019, 6112, 6203, 6301, 6302, 6321, 6322 73rd St. and 7308 60th Ave., containing roughly 252 units, the record states. The seller was Kenosha-based Westchester Apartments, LLC. The buildings were constructed in 1989. Metropolitan Associates owns around two dozen apartment complexes in the state, including buildings in Madison, Milwaukee, Greenfield, West Allis and Waukesha.
