Milwaukee companies nominated for Webby Awards

Three Milwaukee companies have been nominated in the 17th Annual Webby Awards.

 
The Webbys, presented each year by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), honors excellence on the Internet and are regarded as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times.

Local nominees include:

Two winners are selected in each award category, one by members of the IADAS, and one – the Webby People’s Voice – that is voted on by the public. Online voting for the People’s Voice award is open until Thursday, April 25, and can be found at pv.webbyawards.com.

Winners will be honored in a ceremony on May 22 in New York City that will be broadcast online. A complete list of nominees can be found at winners.webbyawards.com.
