A new model of health care delivery is being developed which is designed to address health care costs and quality.
The new model that is receiving considerable attention in the health care industry utilizes Accountable Care Organizations. ACOs are entities in which health care providers (not the government or third parties) assume accountability for the quality and cost of care for patients.
