The Milwaukee Athletic Club will host a cocktail reception and giving competition for members and guests called MAC Gives Back on Wednesday Sept. 21.
At the event, participants are encouraged to donate unwanted professional clothes, cocktail attire, bridesmaid dresses and books to one of three local nonprofits: Bottomless Closet, the Cinderella Project and the Literacy Center.
All participants who donate three or more items will receive a complimentary specialty cocktail.

Entry to the event costs $25 per person and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the participation  organizations.
The event starts at 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor lounge at the MAC.
