Menomonee Falls-based MGI Communications has acquired Brookfield-based KW Advertising.
KW offers web design and marketing communications. It had five employees, and three will join MGI’s 10 existing employees.
The KW office will be closed, and the firm will be called MGI Communications and based out of MGI’s office at N56 W13585 Silver Spring Drive in Menomonee Falls.
MGI declined to disclose the sale price.
The combined firm offers identity/branding; marketing strategy; print, TV and radio advertising; direct mail; websites; SEO and SEM; social media; content management; video; collateral; tradeshows and events; and public relations.
“The combined talent and experience of MGI Communications and KW Advertising will enable us to provide a full spectrum of branding, advertising, web development and web marketing services that will grow our top and bottom lines,” said Pierre Payne, MGI president. “Connecting with a client’s audience in as many ways as possible by integrating traditional advertising tactics with online and social media encourages engagement that helps build brands, market share and sales.”
“After 35 years in business, we’re very excited about what this new alliance can bring to our current clients and mutual accounts going forward,” said Gary Ebert, KW president. “While print, radio, TV, video and direct mail were once the most important elements in a marketing mix, digital media is now essential to a total communications effort. KW Advertising’s expertise in high level creative and strategic marketing is an ideal complement to MGI Communication’s rich digital capabilities.”
