Martinizing has been operating routes in the Lake Country area. Currently each route expands around the area of an existing Martinizing establishment in Oconomowoc, Hartland, Delafield, and Pewaukee.
Martinizing Dry Cleaning has been operating in the Milwaukee area for more than 45 years and has 25 locations.
Riverwest Food Works opens in Onopa Brewing
Riverwest Food Works has opened inside the Onopa Brewing Co. at 735 E. Center St. in Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood.
The business start was supported with financing from the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp. Owners are Mary and Andrew Bechaud.
The restaurant is mainly serving Italian peasant style food using fresh organic and local ingredients. Other cuisine influences are from the southern U.S., San Francisco, Mexico and France. The restaurant will also have made-to-order pizzas, salads, and bakery items.
County Materials buys Milwaukee-area company
County Materials Corp. of Marathon expanded its presence in the Milwaukee market with the recent acquisition of Quality Concrete Products Co. in Hales Corners and Sussex.
County Materials now has several major manufacturing operations with contractor stores in southeastern Wisconsin. Its HomeScapes Studio retail division has stors in Oak Creek and Waukesha.
County Materials, in business since 1946, acquired Wisconsin Brick and Block of Madison in 2001 and the Tews Lafarge retail and contractor stores in Oak Creek in 2002. Last year, it purchased the assets of Best Block Co.’s concrete block manufacturing operations in Milwaukee. The company has more than 20 locations throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.
