Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of Milwaukee-based Marcus Corp., has agreed to assume hotel management responsibilities at the Heidel House Resort & Spa in Green Lake.
The resort property, owned by Madison-based Fiore Companies, has 190 rooms and sits on a 20-acre wooded parcel on Green Lake. It was originally an estate dining room when it opened in 1945, and expanded as its reputation grew.
Heidel House now has 18,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a luxury spa and three restaurants. It was voted Best Wisconsin Lakeshore Resort by meeting planners in the Best of Wisconsin Meetings awards last year.
