Marcus to give away 200 free nights at Milwaukee hotels

Company says it wants to thank the community

The 307-room Pfister Hotel at 424 E. Wisconsin Ave. is one of Marcus Corp.’s three hotels in downtown Milwaukee.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of Milwaukee-based the Marcus Corp., will give away 200 free nights at The Pfister Hotel, the Hilton Milwaukee Downtown hotel and the InterContinential Milwaukee hotel, all located in downtown Milwaukee.

The free-night giveaway will take place between now and Sept. 1. The company says the promotion is a way to say “thank you” to the Milwaukee community and its “loyal guests.”

“We are grateful for the support and loyalty of the community and our guests,” said Joseph Khairallah, chief operating officer of Marcus Hotels & Resorts. “Marcus is synonymous with Milwaukee because of the company’s rich history here, our passionate support for the area, and our ability to deliver exceptional service at all of our properties. This program is another way for us to give back while delivering ‘surprise and delight’ experiences.”

Free room nights will be awarded several different ways, including surprising guests as they check in, as well as rewarding individuals who use #freenight #sweepstakes on Facebook and Twitter, and those who take photos of #freenight stickers or book future reservations. More information is available at MKEmarcus.com.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts has had a major presence in downtown Milwaukee for decades, but is facing more competition as several new hotels have opened in and near downtown Milwaukee in recent years including the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown hotel, which opened in 2013, and the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel, which opened recently in the Historic Third Ward, just south of downtown.
