Milwaukee-based Marcus Corp. today announced that Thomas Riley has been named senior vice president-development of Marcus Hotels & Resorts and MCS Capital LLC.
Riley has 22 years of experience in the lodging industry, focusing on acquisitions, development finance at companies like Crestline Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International, Hilton Hotels Corp., Promus Hotel Corp. and Embassy Suites.
He most recently worked as vice president of acquisitions and development at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where he spent eight years identifying potential acquisitions, joint ventures and third-party management deals, completing financial modeling, analysis and market feasibility studies and negotiating hotel operating, technical services and purchase and sale agreements.
Riley graduated from Pennsylvania State University and holds an MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
