A Waukesha investors group is planning to develop a manufacturing and corporate office facility at the Endeavor Business Park in Richfield.
The 70,000-square-foot structure would be built on three acres of vacant land along the west side of Richfield Parkway, south of Endeavor Drive, according to plans filed with the village. The 30,000-square-foot corporate office would be at its center, with 20,000-square-foot manufacturing modules or "business pods" on either side of it. The plans did not specify a tenant.
Construction of the $7.5 million project is expected to begin in November and finish within approximately one year.
The property owner and developer is Endeavor Business Park 13 LLC, which is led by Mark Sellers of Waukesha.
The facility could be expanded in future phases to bring it to approximately 150,000 square feet. A conceptual site plan shows the building could have up to six manufacturing modules. One more module could be built on the southern end and three more modules could be built on the northern end of the building.
Conceptual floor plans show the main floor of the corporate offices would include an open office area, private offices, a lobby, kitchen and dining area, a fitness center and an approximately 8,600-square-foot gallery. The second floor would contain more office areas, a board room and a roughly 1,500-square-foot gallery overlook area.
The offices would be a combination of glass and stone materials. The manufacturing pods would meanwhile be built using precast concrete wall panels and glass.
Jim Healy, Richfield village administrator, said the plans will be on the village's Plan Commission agenda in August.
Sellers was not immediately available for comment.
