Sunbelt Business Brokers, Milwaukee, has hired its newest business broker, Magnus Ekstrand.
As a former business owner, Ekstrand brings 20 plus years of entrepreneurial spirit to the brokerage world. Early on, he started his career working on the shop floor of his father’s business designing and building OEM conveying equipment for heavy industry. He quickly moved from a welder to a machinist to field installations and service. Eventually he broke away and started his own heavy industry installation and service business serving printers, foundries, manufacturers, and cement plants. He furthered his career by obtaining a Finance degree from UW-Whitewater and transitioned to own a Mortgage Brokerage firm where he built up a sales force and service delivery team. He sold his business in 2007 and spent a few years in Scottsdale, AZ before moving back to the Milwaukee area and joining the Sunbelt team.
