Several Milwaukee area manufacturers are among the nominees announced today for the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year awards.
The MOTY awards are presented by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce along with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP and Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. The pool will be narrowed to four Grand Award winners; they and all the nominees will be recognized at a ceremony at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee on Feb. 25.
Local nominees in the small category (one to 99 employees) are: Hartford-based American Exchanger Services Inc.; Waukesha-based EmbedTek LLC; New Berlin-based Felss Rotaform LLC; Waukesha-based Hydro-Thermal Corp.; Racine-based Inter-Med Inc.; and Milwaukee-based Sign Effectz Inc.
In the medium category (100 to 299 employees), Milwaukee-based Interior Systems Inc. is included.
Among the nominees in the large category (300 to 799 employees) are: Menomonee falls-based Alto-Shaam Inc.; Muskego-based Inpro Corp.; and Milwaukee-based Mortara Instrument Inc.
And in the mega category (800+ employees), Waukesha-based Generac Power Systems Inc. and West Milwaukee-based General Electric were included.
