Prairie Financial Group, a division of Waukesha State Bank, has hired Lisa Persohn as accounting and business operations manager.
Persohn comes to Prairie Financial Group from Lake Country Wealth Managers where she was the Business Administrator. She brings more than a decade of business operations experience, which includes strategic planning, accounting, compliance, hiring and training new employees, marketing and IT/database management.
In her new role with Prairie, Persohn will be charged with the financial analysis and reporting of the division as well as the maintenance of compliance records and ensuring procedural efficiency between PFG and corporate bank departments. In addition, Persohn will monitor and maintain all of PFG’s licenses, permits and contract renewals, and serve as project manager for department-specific software conversions.
She is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her B.S. in business with majors in accounting and finance from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. She is active in the community volunteering with Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast.
