Laughlin Constable, Milwaukee, took home seven awards for its public relations work on behalf of clients; Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Kenall Manufacturing and McDonald’s Restaurants of Southeastern Wisconsin. Presented by the Southeastern Wisconsin chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, the Paragon Awards honor excellence in public relations strategies and tactics conducted by Wisconsin-based organizations.
PR professionals from outside of Wisconsin judged the entries for work implemented during 2015. The criteria used are the prime tenets of public relations: research, analysis and planning, communication action, implementation and evaluation.
Laughlin Constable, a fully-integrated national branding agency with offices in Chicago, Milwaukee, New York and New Jersey, won six Paragon Awards, the highest award given in each category, including five for work done on behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Laughlin Constable also won one Award of Distinction.
Winning Paragon Awards were Travel Wisconsin’s 2015 Press Kit/Meeting’s & Convention’s Press Kit; video footage of fall foliage shot with a drone in the multimedia category; “Road to Fall Fun scavenger hunt” and “Supper Club press conference” in the special events category; and “Get on Board Fall Color Train Post” in the social media tactic category. The agency also won a Paragon Award for its Business-to-Business campaign introducing Indigo-Clean™, a bacteria-killing light fixture for hospitals created by Kenosha-based Kenall Manufacturing, and an Award of Distinction for PR programs for its campaign to launch McDonald’s All Day Breakfast..
“The breadth of work judged as excellent by our industry peers reflects the strategic thinking, talent and experience of the public relations team we’ve assembled,” said Mat Lignel, CEO of Laughlin Constable. “We are fortunate to work with longtime clients like the Department of Tourism and McDonald’s and newer clients like Kenall in building their brands and introducing new products through sound strategies and innovative tactics that achieve results.”
