Kwik Trip

La Crosse-based Kwik Trip Inc. plans to build a second store in Muskego.

The 9,156-square-foot store would be built at the northwest corner of West Janesville Road and West College Avenue, near New Berlin, at the site of a former Harris Bank building. The former bank branch building would be torn down to make way for the new Kwik Trip store.

Kwik Trip says the Muskego project will cost about $2 million and the store will have 28 to 35 full and part-time employees, according to information submitted to the city.

Kwik Trip currently has a Muskego location at S79 W18884 W. Janesville Road. It has more than 500 stores in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.

The plans for its second Muskego store will be reviewed tonight by the Muskego Plan Commission.
