Kohl’s Cares and Susan G. Komen for the Cure advocate breast health

Kohl’s Cares in partnership with the Southeast Wisconsin branch of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is building on breast cancer awareness with its third annual campaign, “Kohl’s Conversations for the Cure.”

The campaign seeks to educate women about breast health and encourages them to be proactive about getting breast health screenings in order to increase survival rates among breast cancer patients. The program also promotes an open dialogue about breast health among women by organizing conversations at community locations like schools, churches, libraries and city agencies.
While the primary focus of past Kohl’s Conversations for the Cure campaigns has centered on generating awareness about breast cancer and starting conversations, the latest campaign will highlight stories of actual breast cancer survivors.
Campaign advertisements through television, radio, print, online and social media outlets will add to the program’s commitment to breast health communication.
“The ads feature real women who have been affected by conversations – conversations that led them to get mammograms and find breast cancer early,” said Nikki Panico, executive director of Southeast Wisconsin’s Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
