The Milwaukee Brewers announced today that country music star Kenny Chesney will perform at Miller Park on Saturday, June 18, 2016, as part of his “Spread the Love” tour.
This will be the third time that Chesney has performed at Miller Park. He played there in 2013 and was part of the Farm Aid 25th Anniversary Tour that came to Miller Park in 2010.
Earlier this year Chesney and Jason Aldean performed at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Chesney also played at Lambeau in 2011.
The 2016 show at Miller Park will also include country music stars Miranda Lambert, Old Dominion and an artist to be announced later.
“Kenny Chesney is one of the industry’s most popular artists, and we’re excited that he will be returning to Miller Park again after his sold-out show here in 2013,” said Milwaukee Brewers chief operating officer Rick Schlesinger. “With a number of major concerts in recent years, Miller Park is now a destination for music’s top touring artists, and fans love seeing shows in this world-class venue. We know this will be an exciting evening with a legendary entertainer and one of the most anticipated concerts of the summer.”
Miller Park has played host to multiple concerts, including George Strait’s Country Music Festival (2001), N’Sync (2001), Bruce Springsteen (2003), Randy Travis (2004), Bon Jovi (2005), Kid Rock/Sugarland (2008), Farm Aid’s 25th Anniversary Concert (2010), Paul McCartney (2013), Kenny Chesney (2013) and One Direction (2015).
Tickets for the Chesney concert will go on sale Friday, Dec. 4.
