Kapco honors local students for volunteer award

Jim Kamarcik, president of Kapco Metal Stampings, will present a special award to Team VISTA at tonight’s Milwaukee Bucks game

Jim Kacmarcik, president of Kapco Metal Stampings in Grafton, will present a special award to Team VISTA, a group of ten students from Concordia University Wisconsin who volunteered hundreds of hours to help out two Milwaukee area families in need. Team VISTA was this year’s winner of the Kapco Charitable Challenge. The students beat out teams from Marquette University and Wisconsin Lutheran College to take home this year’s top honor. The students will be presented their award before tonight’s Buck’s game at 7 p.m. at the Bradley Center. Team VISTA members include: Amy Tavidian, concordia staff advisor, Sarah Eckert, Krista Freitag, Virginia Garrett, Kirsten Granberg, Bailey Hanson, Sarah Hundermark, Jillian Klopke, Alexa Kruel, Megan Mueller, Kevin Nicholes, and Daniel Waschow.
