Waukesha-based Kalmbach Publishing Co. has named Mark Savage publisher.
Savage previously served as associate publisher for American Snowmobiler, Classic Toy Trains, FineScale Modeler and Scale Auto. He will now oversee those four magazine brands.
Before his role as associate publisher, Savage was the editor of American Snowmobiler for 10 years, and also previously served as editor of Model Retailer. He joined the company in 2000 after a long career as a business writer at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Kalmbach publishes 15 special-interest magazines and related books, publishes more than 30 websites and hosts related events. It has 250 employees.
