Nathan Jurowski is the new executive director of Building Advantage, the organization announced.
Building Advantage is a Milwaukee-based non-profit that promotes the union construction industry in southeastern Wisconsin. Jurowski replaces former executive director Ken Kraemer, who announced he was stepping down late last year after 10 years in the role.
Jurowski joins Building Advantage after spending the last four years as general counsel for the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee, where he provided labor relations and legal services to the group’s members. He also was previously a trial attorney, most recently with Rizzo & Diersen S.C. in the firm’s Burlington office.
“I’m excited to work with stakeholders and community leaders to showcase our industry, whose work-product is woven into the skyline and businesses of our community,” Jurowski said in a statement. “It’s all-hands-on-deck right now to continue to meet this demand, and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
Building Advantage represents more than 20,000 tradespeople and more than 600 union contractors.
