Racine-based Johnson Outdoors Inc. today reported higher sales and profits for its fiscal third quarter.
“A solid new product line-up is fueling positive marketplace momentum as we head into the final months of the warm-weather outdoor recreational season,” said Helen Johnson-Leipold, chairman and chief executive officer.
The company reported third quarter net income of nearly $10 million, up from $4.7 million in the third quarter of the previous fiscal year. Diluted net income per common share for the quarter was $1, up from 47 cents I the third quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Net sales for the quarter were $140.9 million, up from $137.1 million.
