Isbister will be next COSBE chair

Mary Isbister, president at Mequon-based GenMet, will be the next chair of the Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE) board of directors.

 
Isbister will begin her two-year term at the board’s meeting on Thursday, Oct. 10.

The role of the COSBE board is to be the voice of small business in helping to shape the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) strategies and to help develop and guide the programs and services MMAC offers its small business members.

In addition to Isbister, the new members of the COSBE board will include:

  • Keith Coursin, president of Desert Aire Corp, a Germantown-based manufacturer of commercial and industrial dehumidification systems.
  • Daphne Jones, president and chief executive officer of Malone’s Fine Sausage Inc., the producer of Glorious Malone’s Gourmet Headcheese and Country Pate in  Milwaukee.
  • Tony Mallinger, president of Metal-Era Inc., a Waukesha-based manufacturer of commercial roofing accessory products. 
  • Lori Poull, co-owner and president of Lange Bros. Woodwork Co. Inc., Wisconsin’s oldest continuously family-owned and operated custom architectural woodworking company in Milwaukee.

COSBE directors who were re-elected to three-year terms are: Greg Clement, president of Argon Industries; Sarit Singhal, president and CEO of Superior Support Resources Inc.; and Dave Werner, president of Park Bank.

The MMAC’s annual All Member Meeting will take place Friday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee. For more information, visit www.mmac.org.
