ISB Community Bank to open new branch in Delafield

Ixonia-based ISB Community Bank recently broke ground on a new, 3,280-square-foot branch under construction at N46 W31067 Highway 16 in Delafield. The new branch is expected to be open for business by Nov. 1.

The full service branch will house five employees, and will feature three drive through lanes and a drive-up ATM, said Jeff Knudtson, president of ISB Community Bank. Aside from its headquarters in Ixonia, the bank operates two branches in Watertown, two in Oconomowoc and one in Dousman.

Although the Lake Country area of Waukesha County already has many banks, ISB Community Bank believes that its location at the intersection of highways 16 and 83 will attract a significant number of customers, Knudtson said. The new branch is being developed close to a new Pick ‘n Save and several other retail stores.

"It’s very busy on 83 and 16 in that portion of Delafield," Knudtson said. "It’s actually closer to Hartland than downtown Delafield."

ISB Community Bank has about $134 million in assets under management. The bank was founded in 1918 as Ixonia State Bank and changed its name to ISB Community Bank in 2003.
