Irgens sells Actuant HQ for $15.37 million

Wauwatosa-based real estate development firm Irgens sold the Actuant Corp. corporate headquarters in Menomonee Falls for $15.37 million, according to state records. The transaction was recorded on Monday, Jan. 6.

Irgens built the 81,503-square-foot office building at N86 W12500 Westbrook Crossing, Menomonee Falls, for Actuant in 2011. Prior to the building’s construction, Actuant’s corporate headquartes was in Butler.

Irgens sold the building to St. John, Ind.-based Actuant Menomonee LLC, which is a consortium of individual investors and is not affiliated with Actuant Corp., said Actuant spokeswoman Karen Bauer. The deal will not affect Actuant’s operations, she said.

“This has always been a leased facility,” she said. “For us, we just simply have a new landlord.”

Actuant has 12 years remaining on its lease for the facility, Bauer said.

The property, including the building and its 6.35-acre lot, has an assessed value of $9,872,400, according to village records.
