Hudson Business Lounge + Espresso Bar announced that it will hold a soft opening on Wednesday, Sept. 26, for the first 50 members who signed up last September. As a business coworking space where entrepreneurs, small businesses, consultants and other professionals can establish their offices, Hudson aims to grow a membership of 250 businesses.
Entrepreneur and founder William Waldren envisions the space as one of creativity, collaboration and innovation.
“I want this to be a hub of activity and small business incubator for Milwaukee,” Waldren said. “Hudson is designed to be a vibrant, forward-leaning environment that creates opportunities to tap into a professional community and local resources. To facilitate that, we’ve designed channels so our members can interact, connect and network with each other.”
One channel of communication is an exclusive online social network for members.
Hudson’s office amenities include offices with individual heating and cooling control capabilities, a locker room outfitted with showers, conference rooms, parking, leading technology including a video conferencing system and glass white boards, and a pink noise system to create privacy for business members holding private conversations in areas where others might be working.
Members with private offices will have access to the building all hours with key cards. Regular hours of operation will run from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. during weekends.
Membership fees range from $55 to $795 a month with part-time and full-time options available.
Hudson is located at 310 N. Broadway in Milwaukee. For more information about the space and membership, visit www.thehudson.org.
