Chicago-based developer
HSA Commercial Real Estate has acquired another 18 acres next to its Park 94 business park in Mount Pleasant, according to state records.
Affiliates of HSA bought the agricultural land for $1.3 million, the records indicate. The property is located west of County Highway V, and borders other lands owned by HSA that make up part of its business park. It is assessed at $140,300.
A spokesperson for HSA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The 120-plus-acre
Park 94 is located on both sides of Highway 20, west of County Road V and International Drive. The park is roughly a mile east of the Highway 20 interchange with Interstate 94. The I-94 corridor between Chicago and Milwaukee has been a hot area for new industrial and commercial development.
According to HSA, Park 94 is a multi-use business park "ideally located for local, regional, and super-regional distribution, between Milwaukee and Chicago." Companies located there include
InSinkErator,
Seda Packaging and AST Logistics LLC. It has pad-ready sites for projects ranging from 20,000 square feet to 400,000 square feet.
