Home Industries Hotel planned for White Stone Station in Menomonee Falls

Hotel planned for White Stone Station in Menomonee Falls

Would have extended stay Home 2 Suites by Hilton flag

A 105-room extended stay hotel is planned for the White Stone Station development in Menomonee Falls.

American Construction Services Inc. has submitted plans to the village’s Architectural Control Board for a Home 2 Suites by Hilton hotel.

Gabe Gilbertson, planning technician with the village, said a hotel was always intended for the development, but the flag was unknown.

“It’s an extended stay, but the interior looks like an Aloft hotel,” Gilbertson said. “For the most part, staff is favorable about the plans submitted.”

Plans will also need to be approved by the village’s Community Development Authority next month and Village Board.

The hotel would be constructed at the northwest corner of Falls Parkway and Roosevelt Drive, near the 320 market-rate, high-end apartments being developed by Milwaukee-based Fiduciary Real Estate Development in White Stone Station.

Cobalt Partners is developing the multi-use project within the 65-acre former industrial area west of the interchange of US 41/45 and Pilgrim Road.

In June 2014, Cobalt announced a Costco store would anchor the development. Ulta Beauty, Sports Authority, Ross Dress for Less and Home Goods have signed leases for space within the development.

In late 2013, the Wisconsin Athletic Club and Froedtert Health opened a sports medicine and fitness facility within the development area.
