MTMI, which is currently located in Herzing’s Menomonee Falls headquarters, plans to move to a new undetermined location in the Milwaukee area within the next six months, according to Denise Lukasik-Sedmak, executive director of MTMI.

Lukasik-Sedmak will remain executive director of the institute and there are no expected changes for employees under the acquisition. MTMI has 11 full-time and seven part-time employees.

MTMI provides more than 6,000 continuing education and training programs annually. Its offerings focus on programs for technologists, mammographers, sonographers, dosimetrists, medical physicists and physicians. It was founded in 1989.

“We’re very excited because we think it’s going to be a good fit and it’s a great way to grow as a company, as we’ve been in business for 30 years,” Lukasik-Sedmak said.

CHCP focuses on providing certification and career placement for professionals in allied health fields.

“As emerging technologies and shifting demographics transform the country’s health care landscape, providing effective care for millions of Americans will depend on a lifelong approach to education and training,” said Eric Bing, chief executive officer of CHCP. “MTMI’s expertise in medical imaging and technology will bolster our mission of providing full service, flexible, accessible pathways for a continuum of training in high-demand fields that help learners from all backgrounds pursue successful health care careers.”
