Brookfield-based business performance consulting firm Heath Corp. has been acquired by Itasca, Ill.-based accounting and business consulting firm CDH. The transaction was effective Dec. 1.
Heath Corp.’s Brookfield location will continue operating under the CDH name, and its five employees will all be retained. CDH, which has 67 employees, also has a third location in Chicago.
Through the integration of the companies, Heath will provide “Executive Focus” services through CDH’s existing v-Focus line. Heath will continue to offer its financial and operational performance insights and continuous performance expertise in that area.
CDH was founded in 1996 and has a national client base of privately-held companies. Its services include tax and audit, HR consulting, IT, marketing and training.
“Heath sought to merge with an accounting and consulting firm to expand the services we offer and better serve our clients,” said Tom Hood, chief executive officer of Heath. “Merging with CDH is a good fit for both our clients and our employees.”
“Heath would give us the excellent management consulting capabilities to CDH,” said Koh Fujimoto, president and managing principal of CDH. “We want to expand our consulting capabilities and we want to improve our existing consulting capabilities. Adding Heath, it will be a lot better.”
